The film stars Bela Lugosi along with Suzanne Kaaren, Guy Usher, Yolande Mallott, Dave O'Brien, and Donald Kerr. The storyline concerns Dr. Paul Carruthers (played by Bela Lugosi), a chemist and physician in the small town of Heathville, who seeks revenge for withheld profits from the company he works for, by developing ordinary bats into a massive size, and training them to be attracted to a new aftershave Carruthers distributes to his enemies as a "test" product.
