I wish I'd discovered the Matt Helm series a long time ago. but I'm making up for it now. it will appeal if you like a Reacher or Milton style hero, but cast them back 40 years or so, with Cold War themes and very non PC. but that's part of the appeal.
it's a simple formula, reliably delivered once again by the author, and beautifully performed by the narrator.
Millennials will hate the strong views and occasional arrogance of the hero, but the rest will enjoy the listen.
