About this listen

On the first day of their vacation, Sam Archer wakes up to a nightmare. The problem is, he doesn’t sleep. He doesn’t dream. And his nightmare is much more than it seems.

For Sam’s entire life, he has been haunted by a man with a grudge against him and his deceased parents. A man who is jealous of his immortality and wishes nothing more than to make Sam’s immortal life as miserable as possible. Thankfully, Sam can't be killed, and he now has the power to defend those he cherishes most.

However, even despite his newfound power... His enemy...is going to succeed. Sam has seen it. A future where he loses everyone he loves. Again. And there is absolutely nothing he can do to stop it.

His enemy has already guaranteed that, having always been ten steps ahead and having already ensured that it is impossible to overcome this nightmare fate. With no options, and no real hope, outside help slowly starts to trickle into his life. But will it be enough? Sam already knows that the answer is no.

But what more can he do, than try anyway? To try as hard as he can to overcome...the impossible.

The Cosmic Power of an Immortal is a very long full-length novel. It is Book 6 in the Immortal Supers series.

Absolutely awesome to finally get some closure on this series. Even if more books follow (which I hope there will be) book 6 definitely felt like a soft ending for the series.
I would say my only problem with the book and series as a whole, is that the author tends to get lost in the paint. Spending several paragraphs explaining why someone did something, said something, or felt something that is obvious to anyone who can read context clue and has an ounce of social and emotjonal awareness. Otherwise this a great story, deeply heartfelt, just wish the author would stop sniffing his own farts sometimes.

Amazing work as always I am looking forward to the next book. This book has wrapped up a lot of the plot nicely it has left room to grow further and hasn't left you on a major cliff hanger. Over all an enjoyable and exiting listen
