Rhyme's cousin has been arrested for murder. The evidence clearly shows he did it, but Rhyme agrees to check things out. I love Jeffrey’s books and have enjoyed many on audible, but when I purchased this one I didn’t realise it was an abridged version of an abridged version at just over 2 hours. Jeffrey’s books are usually over 10 hours. The story line made no sense with gapping holes everywhere. A total waste of time on the part of audible / whoever did the editing . I feel robbed and should be refunded. If you read my review please don’t fall into the same trap I did and buy this book. Buy the paperback copy and read it as it was written. The narrators tried to do a decent job but with whole chunks of the storyline missing even they failed. They didn’t just take a knife to the story, they eviscerated it.
