Penguin presents the audiobook edition of The Bomb Girl Brides by Daisy Styles, read by Anne Dover.

The life of a Bomb Girl isn't usually glamourous. But Maggie is getting married, so she is going to make sure her wedding day is - even if she does have to spend every other day slaving on the factory floor.

This blasted factory was not what Julia had in mind either. She had always dreamed of attending Oxford University rather than getting her hands dirty and the easy laughter of the other women intimidate her terribly.

But they are all here together in this munitions factory in a Lancashire mill town, sharing firsts, pitching in and getting on. These Bomb Girls are going to do their best at work, and in love.

The story kept my interest, the narration was brilliant. I lived the whole saga and would love another book to follow on.

Loved it

storyline from start to finish with some great characters and antics within the book. The narrator was very good at using different voices for the characters.

I've enjoyed all four books. Good storylines and well described and interesting characters. There was an adjustment to listening to a new narrator for book three but it worked out successfully imo.

Great fourth book of the series

Great read

There are way too many adjectives as usual, Kit has become drastically more Irish, and Reggie distinctly less Welsh, and one particular sub-plot is completely ridiculous, BUT it was lovely to catch up with them all, and to meet Julia. Wouldn't have missed it for the world!
