I love the books featuring John Rebus and have read them all, so listening to new (to me) though short, stories was an absolute joy. The narrator was wonderfully nuanced with his voice characterisations, and got the emotional tones just right.

Have read the odd Rebus novel and enjoyed. This collection of short stories has made me a firm fan and the narration by James MacPherson is very very good. So good that I have already purchased another Rebus audiobook and will buy more
