Holden is a professional baseball player on the injured list. His only goal is getting back on the field… until he meets me.

Everyone knows about Holden Gray's reputation. He goes through women faster than most baseball players go through sunflower seeds.

When he becomes my next physical therapy patient, I'm determined to keep things professional. Something that proves more challenging than I expected.

Holden is determined to get off the bench in time for the playoffs. He insists on having me and my son move into his house so I'm on-call twenty-four/seven.

Close quarters mean there is a lot of tension brewing between us. I went down that road with my son's father, and I learned the hard way how relationships go with men like Holden.

Still, the chemistry between us is undeniable. Holden makes it clear he wants more from me than PT. So I agree to a fling. Something with an expiration date so I can get out before my heart is involved.

But I might already be too late…

Tame the Player features the following tropes: single mom, plus-size love, millionaire athlete, love triangle, nursing back to health, secret romance, opposites attract, sports, and small-town romance.

Holden suddenly finds himself on unfamiliar ground, not only is he unable to play but he is craving Cat, he needs her close, yes he wants her, but more than that he wants to see her happy, spend time with her, talk, cuddle....everything he thought he never wanted. He now needs it like a drug. But for the first time ever a woman is not throwing herself at him, he has to work to gain her trust and break through her walls. The time, the anticipation, the stolen kisses they all have him falling hard and fast. I love that even though he knows she's his forever, he doesn't pressure Cat, he woos, he tells her, he shows her, he reassures her, he bonds with Cole and when it really counts - he lays his heart on the line. Seeing him vulnerable and self conscious makes him so much more attractive and whilst Cat has him labelled as a player, at no point do we actually see any player type actions from him. I really like him and the respect he shows Cat.
I always enjoy the time we spend with the Grey siblings, their bond may not be blood but it is unbreakable and packed with love.
