About this listen

Drunk customers. Shoplifting raccoons. Otherworldly visitors. As night-shift clerk at the 24-hour gas station at the edge of town, Jack has pretty much seen it all.

That is, until his best friend reveals the body of a local politician hidden in the trunk of a car, setting off a chain of events with apocalyptic potential. Soon, Jack finds himself entangled in a supernatural conspiracy involving monster hunters, sociopaths, doomsday cultists, and...garden gnomes?

Armed with nothing but his wits, sarcasm, and alarming amounts of coffee, can Jack stay alive long enough to see another morning shift? Or will he, too, fall victim to the dark, ancient force infecting the dreams of everyone around him?

One thing’s for sure. He’s not getting paid enough for this.

This story is very unusual but absolutely riveting. I got completely absorbed by the story and the voice of Jon Grilz works perfectly. I highly recommend it.

The wonderful world of Tales From The Gas Station is like nothing else. Every volume is fantastic and will have you riveted to the very end.
Alas, this Theatrical Version of Volume One is less than expected, and imho is not as good as the normal version narrated by Mr Creepypasta.

Amazing story…..but!

Loved the story and enjoyed the theatrical version immensely. John Grills does a wonderful job with the various characters and the rest of the supporting cast are fantastic.

Don't expect cerebral plot lines this one is just weird and funny at the same time, suspend ration thought and just let it wash over you, you won't be disappointed.

I will say it's a shame the theatrical version was not adopted, at time of writing, for the other books. The story is there but the delivery lost some of its punch, character voice changes, pacing and weird pauses in the delivery unfortunately have a negative effect. Overall though excellently written series.

Weird and laugh out loud funny !
