Now, at the age of 106, he recalls the story of his life; from 1912 Venice where he was pursued by the older man, Aschenbach, and the teen, Jashu; to WWII New York and the famous painter, Finnian, who fell for him; to 1950’s Hollywood and Caleb, the teen boy who captured Tadzio’s heart; and finally, to 2004 and the 13-year-old Colin, who inspires Tadzio’s final work of art.
