I like that this book is not like all the other stock market-type books I've read. This book challenges the conventional wisdom that those who obsessively track every market fluctuation and financial news tidbit have a distinct advantage.. If you only look at what is happening right now but not the history of how a stock has done and potentially where it's going, it can lead to bad decisions. The author reviews the 80/20 rule to help you reduce your research time and allows you the time to instead look for bigger opportunities. It is really easy to make knee-jerk reactions but learning how and when to look can keep you from spending so much time in the weeds that you miss golden opportunities.

I liked chapter 3 which is learning how to filter out bad stocks before they impact your portfolio and found it to be really helpful. Making sure that you have the right stock can save you so much time from having to deal with it in the future. The author even gets you to a point where you can evaluate stocks in just 60 seconds from a data snapshot which keeps you in motion and not stuck in analysis paralysis.

Great book to help others be able to evaluate their current stock as well as make smart decisions on new stock and to learn how to look at the big picture.

Wow, such a great topic! Who doesn’t like the idea of trading only 4 times in a year? Key highlights from the audiobook include: Compressing information to save from over trading. Past performance is no guarantee of future results. More information does not mean better understanding of the details or better future results. Higher ROIC for a company is better and should be higher than WACC. The focus is on evaluating current company performance rather than future projections really struck a cord with me. The audiobook debunks the idea of buying and holding stocks for life, highlighting the importance of having a solid entry and exit strategy. Avoid FOMO.

There’s so much great information here, much more than I’ve mentioned. I really like how at the end of each chapter there’s a summary of the key points. This audiobook is a treasure trove of practical wisdom that I’m excited to put into practice!

This audible was amazing at doing that! It took you through a logical sequence of events, strategies and divulged past experiences to really hit home how you go about picking winners and it just made sense. A light bulb finally went off and the strategies I have implemented have already started winning. The best chapter was how to evaluate a winning stock in under 60 seconds - if you want to win big then this is a must listen chapter! Highly recommended.
