I read the book and in my head I had visions and sounds of how I'd imagine they sounded like Plagueis speaking and his actions and this audio book brought it all to life. Both the actual book and this audio version deserve full marks A*** .

This is without a doubt one of the best Star Wars (Legends) stories ever published, giving in my opinion the definitive history of Palpatine, and an insight into how events played out from “The Phantom Menace” and beyond. The “official” timeline would be hard pressed to rewrite this history, and an excellent performance by Daniel Davis”

Captivating, well written, good narration, really enjoyable story adds so much to the background of the universe and adds so much more character development to Palpatine. 10/10

Absolutely loved it and hated to put it down with it holding my interest throughout the entire thing from the very first chapter. You will not be disappointed, especially if you are a fan of the Prequels (particularly Phantom Menace) and legends.
