This was hilarious! I laughed so much! The banter and quirks of the family are to die for... I really liked all the characters and I can't wait to read listen more of those crazy Scots ! Kudos to to reader of the audiobook, it was just perfect.

I absolutely love the wonderful and crazy world of the Warlocks MacGregor. This story was so enjoyable, full of laugh out loud moments, romantic gestures, wild and crazy hijinks, pranks, drama, mystery, ghosts, and so much more. Jane owns a greenhouse and does landscaping. She has a magical green thumb. She has been ill on and off since childhood and no doctors can figure out what is wrong with her. She thinks she is dying. When Ian MacGregor meets Jane, he unknowingly stops time just to spend time with her, which breaks the rules, using magic in front of humans. He hires her to work on the gardens at their mansion and then all the crazy begins. Such a good story. Ian and Jane are perfect for each other. Their story was a wild ride but such a great ending. I couldn't stop listening to it.

I just loved this book! The McGregor family and their antics are endlessly entertaining and I frequently found myself giggling as I listened. I’m not usually a fan of male narrators but this one was perfect for the book. His Scottish accent was very authentic- and I say that as someone who grew up surrounded by Scottish relatives! I was engrossed in the story right from the start and loved the slow unveiling of Jane’s past and the secret of who she was. This is a book I will be listening to over and over again.

This is Iain Macgregor and Jane's story. Iain is a Scottish warlock and Jane is a plant nursery owner/landscaper. I really got a kick out of this story as some of Iain's family are rather eccentric. They are hundreds of years old and each have different magical gifts. Jane however is kind of a mystery and we learn her mom ran away when she was young. Iain and Jane first meet when the Macgregors are creating somewhat of a spectacle as they paraded down to the town to celebrate Eric and Lydia getting engaged.
Jane has dealt with ill health and visits from ghosts since she was young. She believes she will die soon so has no plans to fall in love but Iain falls for her right away. His family however isn't sure what to make of her. They believe she has an aura of death about her and his mom even calls her a banshee. His other relatives have various other ideas. Will the mystery of Jane's mom be solved and will Iain and Jane get their HEA. Check this story out to see. You will be glad you do.

This book has a fantastic world built around it the imagination from Michelle is fantastic. With a brilliant performance from Michael with some great accents, the entertainment value is off the charts.
