Very thrilling start to the story but then it went a bit slow. I found it hard to follow the different characters and there were some sub-plots that didn’t amount to anything. However the narration was good and the fantasy/modern city genre very cool.

I wasn’t enthralled or anything, it seemed exciting to begin with but I think maybe I want a fantasy book with more fantasy action/higher stakes. The main character annoyed me throughout

Great storytelling, dragons, a strong but wounded FMC, slow burn romance, banter, a curse, court life and intrigue. The audiobook was great, I recommend!
