This helped me through a challenging time & I could connect easily with the character’s struggles having been that out-of-work actress once! Really love Lauren Graham. Anyone who is a fan is gonna love it! Great that it’s narrated by her, too.

Stunning from beginning to end! Great for fans of funny, heartfelt books. If you like Sophie Kinsella, you will love this. Graham creates credible characters that you really root for and, in Frannie Banks, I've found a new favourite. She is flawed, funny and fabulous.

A cracking contemporary read

I really enjoyed it particularly because I related to Franny (the main character) a lot. Her naivety and lack of confidence can be quite frustrating at times and I was hoping for more evolution in her personal development but the incredible humor makes up for it and Lauren's fast-paced narration keeps you on your toes.

Absolutely loved this book, Lauren Graham does a fantastic job of keeping you fully engaged and making it so easy to picture everything. I could feel all of the emotions Franny felt and really loved the 90's references.
