This the last book in the series I have really enjoy geting to know the characters over the 5 books. This was a lovely way to end the series. I have loved how it all worked out in the end. It is brilliantly narrated by the author who brings the villiage and school to life.

Gervase brings all characters to life again in this wonderful book, and recaps on who they are from previous stories. Excellent 👍

Whilst driving home to Yorkshire from Dunstable, I listened to this book with relish; laughing out loud, still giggling over something that had been read earlier in the book.
Such a delight to listen to. I’m now on my 3rd book.

I have read all of the books written by Gervaise Phinn and have enjoyed each and every one. A humourous and insightful view of human nature . Well worth reading.
