Lots of laughs to be had listening to this! Really like that there are several narrators to portray the different characters. Very powerful but humorous :)

Fun fiction resonating with strong emotional messages. Though focused on women these sassy snapshots relate to all walks of humanity

I am a massive fan of Cecelia, her books are so crestive. I understand the concept of this book, however i listen to audio books as i love to feel engrossed in a storyline and zone out from life for a while. With the constant changing stories I didn't feel I could get into this book.

Creative but not for me.

For some reason I expected more chick lit style. I was wrong. This is such a clever book. Great stories that make you laugh, think about yourself and more. Cecelia's literal interpretation of idioms and commonly used phrases is so different e.g. the woman who was feather brained having an actual feather in her brain. Pieces on women trying to keep everything going and present as calm and in control are insightful. It actually makes those feelings REAL and I think I will probably reference many to myself when I too have those feelings in the future. Also the narrators are brilliant!

Unexpectedly different
