If you enjoy mafia romance this one is for you. Dark, edgy, undertones and a heroine who is in the middle of a power play and she is the pawn, so to speak.
Amber Bray did a good job telling us about all of Mariana’s suitors.

The story was very engrossing but it has a lot of rough scenes and dark triggers. I was worried she would be in one bad situation after another but she ended up finding a way. I was amazed at her spirit. The narrator did a great job.

A good mafia romance starter. It could have more background on their relationship before she disappeared. I wanted a feel of his feelings before he found her. I loved how he never gave up on her even after she returned and wanted to make sure he was the one.
