I love this series and read it several times so I thought I'd give the audio books a try and I'm so glad I did. Angela Dawe brings the characters to life. Brilliant!

I confess. There is so much about this series that I don't like. I find the heroine really tiresome. But I have to keep listening to discover what happens next. I prefer Kade, Blaine is a bit too corporate. But I totally dislike her interaction and relationships with the two brothers.

If this were a film, I'd be willing the credits to roll. As it is, this cliffhanger is the only thing that is making me reach for the next book!

I Can't Quite Like This Series, But the story is Gripping!

This is #4 and it is important to read the series in order.

We are no further forward except Kat is driving me crazy with her insecurities, not making up her mind and blaming herself for things completely out of her control.

Added to this, being blown up, kidnapped and shot, no matter what, she's done it and remember she's fine! So totally ridiculous that it becomes slightly tedious and more to the point you start to forget who did what and frankly, you don't care!

It did, however, pick up towards the end with an interesting twist and now I have to move on to #5 to find out what happens in the #lovetriangle and James!!
