What did you like best about this story?

There are lots of characters, all written beautifully. I felt that I knew them all. Despite being an easy, gentle listen/read, this is an intelligent tale and not predictable.

Any additional comments?

I love this author. Her novels are perfect for a lighter book, but not so light as to be trash. Quite the contrary, she writes really well, building up her characters well and never rambling.
