After the completely daft decision by Stephen Leather's UK publishers not to continue with the Jack Nightingale series, the author has switched the action to the USA and self-published, so fans of Jack can continue to enjoy his unique approach to murder and demons.
To be fair, the story is not as complex as some of the others in the series but well told and wonderfully narrated by Paul Thornley. Mr Thornley seems to be Marmite as a narrator; as you can tell I enjoy his narration very much. His New York accent is terrific and as ever, he has Jack well defined. So in summary, good but not great, enjoyable but not demanding. Just the thing for a few hours in a motorway jam.

I now follow narrators as well as authors and Paul is one of my favourites and makes this series for me. Story is good to despite not being my normal category

Another great narration of a good story
