This is probably another great crime thriller from these authors, but unfortunately let down by the narrator. She simply isn't good at voice characterisations, particularly the males. All the men (and some of the women) sounded the same, and all quite grating, as if they had something unpleasant stuck in their throats!
In the end I couldn't hear any more and had to stop listening to it, the narration just got on my nerves! Such a shame because other books by these authors have an excellent narrator, also female, but who manages to portray male characters in a more believable and sympathetic way.
Very disappointed 😔
