Multi-award-winning television writer and producer Georgia Pritchett knows a thing or two about anxiety.

From worrying about the monsters under her bed as a child (Were they comfy enough?), to embracing womanhood (One way of knowing you have crossed from girlhood to womanhood is that men stop furtively masturbating at you from bushes and start shouting things at you from cars. It's a beautiful moment) to being offered free gifts after an award ceremony (It was an excruciating experience. Mortifying) worry has accompanied her at every turn.

This memoir is a joyful reflection on just how to live - and sometimes even thrive (sometimes not) - with anxiety.

I found this book achingly sad, honest and hilarious at the same time. Thank you.

Funny, brutally honest with a fabulous narrator to deliver it. I wasn't expecting a memoir, I thought this was womens fiction! Didn't know of her, but it was a fabulous listen, finished in one sitting!

Expectedly fabulous

I couldn’t stop listening to this and popped it on at every opportunity. Fortunately it’s format of short anecdotes lends itself to this style of listening- Intelligent, witty and poignant this account of episodes in Georgias life is a wonderful listen. So difficult when reading reviews to know if the reviewer has a similar to taste to you- Read the authors CV for an idea of her background writing abilities! I’ll be listening to it again, something I never do!

Highly recommend

An unusual and uplifting autobiography, I found the way Georgia talks about her anxiety to be very comforting and greatly enjoyed hearing her stories of her life so far, would recommend.

Really enjoyed this…
