As murder mysteries go, it certainly has an unusual plot but there are a few to many improbabilities to be totally believable. If you like guessing 'whodunnit' then go with the Miss Marple style of investigation and choose the person who seems to behave well throughout!

loved the intricate plot and the atmospheric references to the Lake District. Even enjoyed the detailed descriptions of fishing techniques as someone who knows nothing about the subject.

Too much about the scenery couldn’t get into the story listened to the first book all about fishing and cricket tried this one but couldn’t get into it
