excellent series

The narrator was awful, each character sounded the same, very monotonous, the story was dull and no likeable characters, won’t be listening to the series.

Immediately bought the second book to listen to. Murder, gardens and an English village you'd like to be a part of. So glad I bought this title.

Really enjoyed the book, story, twists, characters etc. Narrator awful, no voices for characters and no pauses between dialogue for each character even making conversations flow into one another and making it extremely hard to follow, not an easy listen. Also, most of th characters always seemed angry due to poor narration and I'm sure not how it was intended. I don't usually buy many books and listen to the free ones until I find an author or book series I really like, then I usually buy the rest in the series. Sadly, would love another book but can't bare to listen to same narrator again! I usually get annoyed when authors change narrators in a book series, but this time I think they should have!!!! A real shame as the book was really good.
