I loved reading this book and recommend it to everyone who wants to know more about Christianity

The book is outstanding, a real Christian classics. Unfortunately the reader is breathing very loud, which is very annoying. The book is very recommended, but not this version.

I really enjoyed listening to Mere Christianity and it has inspired me to take the time to go and read the dead tree version of the book, so that I can more readily stop and think about all the illustrations Lewis uses.

I did feel though that the narrator did not really enjoy recording this book and sometimes I had to really concentrate to stay present while listening.

It's safe to say that when I first read Mere Christianity, that it was pivotal in my ultimate conversion to Faith. CS Lewis has a knack, no, a calling to explain how he viewed God the Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit in terms that anyone and everyone can understand. He simplifies the near-inexplicable into something that can be easily digested, whilst still retaining the magisterial wonder that is The Holy Trinity.

This recording does the book justice, being unabridged (I think!) and read in such a way that one could believe it's CS Lewis providing the narration himself. Having come from a point of complete godlessness into the Kingdom Realms, this book spoke to me in a way that was God-breathed - divine, if you will - something that only The Good Book of Scripture itself has equalled. All I would suggest is for non-believers to enter in with an open mind and allow Lewis's sublime reasoning to speak to your soul...it did to me and helped guide me to a complete life transformation. Being saved and knowing eternal love and life is not to be spurned lightly...do yourself the biggest favour ever by hearing CS out...God bless all of you who read this and make that decision, just to listen...Steve
