Summary

Family tensions run high as families blend together in Mansfield Park. There are many families with secrets to hide, and the Mansfield family is no different. Fanny Price is sent to live with her power hungry and wealthy aunt and uncle, Sir Thomas and Lady Bertram.

There, Fanny doesn't get along well with her three eldest cousins, but she has a special affinity to the youngest one, Edmund, who is studying to be a clergyman. When Sir Thomas has to leave on business, Henry and Mary Crawford, the local minister's wife’s siblings, come to stay with them and things begin to get racy! Lines are crossed and love triangles are formed during a play which is abruptly ended when Sir Thomas comes home suddenly.

The love triangles continue on and feelings get twisted and confused, until the family is finally split up and different business ventures take them away from one another. However, for other people, their ties get tighter than ever before. Some of those ties will come from tragic events; yet, others will come from times of joy and celebrating as well. Fanny and the rest of her family must learn who people truly are in order to finally be happy.
