Good story slightly spoiled by poor narrator. Otherwise, good story. Sean Barrett would have brought more life to the story.

The narrator of the previous 2 titles in the series is infinitely better. The strangely timed narration really affected my enjoyment of the book.

loved the first 2 books but this different narrator stopped me listening. it's like he was not in tune with the time of narrative or characters

This is the 2nd book I’ve read in the Rossel series and I think it’s the best yet! The mix of personal stories & historic settings really draws you in.

What a shame they switched narrators. The previous book in this series was equally good but better read. At times our Soviet hero sounded like Graeme Garden from the Goodies.
