About this listen

Magic of the Damned · Complete Series

A deal with the devil always comes with a price.

I just didn’t expect that price to be me.

I needed a win and ended up with a hell of a loss. After my life imploded, I thought finding a strangely beautiful ring behind a bookstore dumpster meant my luck was finally changing.

Instead, it put me face to face with Dominic—the Prince of the Underworld and warden of a supernatural prison. He’s responsible for dragging the worst of the worst from our world and locking them away. No mercy. No leniency.

Now he’s accusing me of releasing three of its most dangerous inmates.

It’s hard to argue when the ring brands my skin and unlocks powerful magic I can’t explain.

I didn’t just unleash monsters. I exposed a weakness. A way for the Prince’s rivals—the ones who’ve always hated his control—to finally strike back.

To them, I’m not collateral damage. I’m leverage.

They give me two choices: become their weapon against the Prince of the Underworld… or die.

I choose neither.

Instead, I’m forced into an uneasy alliance with Dominic himself, leaving me caught between brutal politics, dangerous magic, and a ruler who’s far too interested in what I can do—and who I might become.

In a world ruled by monsters, survival sometimes means standing beside the most dangerous one of all.

Magic of the Damned complete series is perfect for readers who love dark urban fantasy romance with rival-to-lovers tension, supernatural politics, and dangerous alliances.

The concept is interesting, but the execution was poor.
I don’t know if the literary world suffers from lack of editors, but this one desperately needed one. It is bland writing, not helped by the lack of nuance from the narrator, though she didn’t have much to work with. It reads like a garden-variety fanfic, but slightly worse. Cannot recommend. There are cheaper ways to obtain background noise. I can’t finish it.

Bland, repetitive writing
