This series was nothing other than amazing! It very much had one of everything and absolutely horrible as well as lovable characters.

Now, to my surprise these books have given me the urge to play Dungeons & Dragons for some reason. Crazy. The entire world setting would be PERFECT for running campaigns in.

I rate this series OM NOM out of ten. ❤️

Loved this series — it gripped me from start to finish. It had a great mix of Indiana Jones-style adventure and big-concept sci-fi similar to The Three-Body Problem. The mystery, exploration, and pacing kept me hooked throughout all three books.

My only criticism, without giving spoilers, is that the ending of the final book didn’t feel completely concluded. I was left feeling like there was still a little more story to tell. In particular, the story arc for the protagonists seems to stop rather abruptly, and you’re left wondering what ultimately happens to them.

That said, I still thoroughly enjoyed the trilogy and would definitely recommend it to sci-fi fans who enjoy alien mysteries, ancient technology, and fast-paced adventure.
