Fantastic book. Familiar backdrop of the Greek myths told a new by David Gemmell.

I loved it so much I bought the 2nd book before I finished this one so I could give stright into part 2.

I love this book in paper form and it was with a little trepidation that I bought the audiobook, particularly after reading some of the reviews that criticised the narrator’s style. I think the criticisms are completely unwarranted - a book like this with such amazing, breathtaking action needs a calm voice to narrate it. An incredible story, such a wonderful take on an ancient tale, superbly narrated. Highly recommended.

Thoroughly enjoyed listening to this. Loved reading it and treasure it more as Gemmells final great work. Epic storytelling as always and very well read by Judd. Looking forward to the next chapter.

my absolute favourite book, read it many years ago, and loved every minute of this audiobook. David gemmell was a master author.
