Brilliant narration from Marcus Barton, who brings the suspense, action, chemistry and pace to your ears.

Slade after finishing a job for Maverick Ops, he gets a phone call from Marise. She is a nurse at Patriot Retreat who look and care for soldiers to heal. Marise needs help, even struggles with her PTSD , both served together her as a nurse and he was combat rescue officer. The colonel they both knew now needs their help.
Two strong people who have ghosts from their past military times. Having kept both of them at arms length. Until danger brings them together. Action, drama, steam and chemistry. Full on pace.
