Amy is our adopted child and she is a beautiful angel. Although she is only 7 years old, she has already shown a great interest and talent for painting. She is always absorbed in her own painting world. Amy was diagnosed with autism at the age of 3 because she is non-communicative and has obsessive-compulsive disorder. She likes to run back and forth in her room. This did not detract from our whole family's love for her. We believe that with a change in mindset, a comprehensive system and practical strategies, we can help Amy live and learn better. This book has given us some help and I recommend this book to parents who need the same.

Very helpful to me

Great tips. I struggle daily, and it's time for him to fend for himself. We have already tried some tips, and he is very proud of his achievements. My son is very smart, but everything needs to be clearly explained and planned. A very good book, I recommend it, it sort of organizes my thoughts as well, what, when and how to do it.
As a young man, he begins to feel how different he is from others. This book gave him hope that he could do it on his own because everything could be organized - step by step.
Great book. Thank you, K. Davis-Reid.

All of us come across such children that are often seen suffering with difficulty in social communications and interactions. These children are suffering with Autism spectrum disorder (ASD), a neurological disorder.

This book acts as a guideline which helps to empower such children. So that they can be skilfully able to grip on their future occupational skills.

How to overthrow your innate flaws.

This is the book I really needed but didn't know how much til I listened to it. You see it's personal my grandson has ASD and I never knew how to handle him neither does my daughter. As a family my son my wife has just been trying to get by staying out of his way not knowing what to say or do from his behavior to forgetfulness This book is the tool we needed. This book covers everything from personal care to social skills to communications which I have a problem with and so much more the topics are openly laid out with poignant situations and lots of solutions and suggestions. I feel I now have the tools to even talk to my daughter about my grandson. I highly recommend this book for anyone with ASD or around someone with ASD Its like seeing a therapist on ASD and getting management skills to deal with ASD it's all in this book
