I like that Paul states the lines slowly and clearly and repeats the sentences so you can follow and say them before going on.

I have completed 1&2 and there's no doubt you learn what is taught. However I have completed all Michel Thomas Italian courses and I feel there is far more content with Michel that is probably due to Paul's avid approach to reinforcement and repetition. Both teaching styles are similar but to someone completely new to Italian and who has struggled with language learning in the past then Paul Noble is the best option he really has simplified learning a language.

I love the simplicity, repetition, and fantastic explanations and references. Very sad to know there is no follow up as Paul has left us, like losing a friend.

I found this a great introduction to the language. Repetitive - but that's the point. It helps you to build up vocabulary and use it to make sentences, rather than just learning a set of possibly useful phrases you might need if you are on holiday. It gave the basic knowledge and understanding of how Italian works and gave me the confidence to try some more comprehensive language courses and build on the grammar.
