it's a story about family, divided and reunited. it's really touching to me, probably becaseu it's somewhat similar to my family, and i can always feel the characters like i was growing up in their family. it was never easy for me in a young age too. somehow i managed to get to where i am now, but it's definitely not without sacrifices and compromises. it's hard facing it alone. reading this book, the lines resonates with me on a deep level. i really love the author's writing style, it's gently telling the stories, not rushing, but deeply touching my soul.

deeply moving
