The story and all the characters are good.
The Hero's so called big secret is ridiculous and leaves a jarring note. Why hide it and why would it be a scandal?
The Heroine is said to be a strong intelligent woman, yet allows her husband to dictate what should be done with her Dowry.
The story is good, there is humour.
