Great story so far but this book was such a late down changing the narrator was the biggest reason I did not enjoy it as much and it felt like a mixed bag of everything and not clearly following the past story's.

Last book i read of this great story

This used to be my favourite Audible series but the new narration, competent as it is, just doesn’t sparkle like Andrea P. I find my disappointment in the change of narrator overrides my enjoyment of the story. What a shame.

15 books in its.... Not ideal. New interpretations of every character is hard to get used to at this point. The new narrator has her work cut out for her, jumping in so far into the series. Rough situation, to be fair, she does a good job. But im still getting used to the new voice.

Parsnay is apparently burnt out, and I hope the production company and perhaps the author learnt something from that. they should have brought in another narrator earlier, and had dual narrators to help Parsnay with all the obscure chapters and characters. Perhaps the situation would be different.....

Parsnays performances is a very big part of why I have enjoyed this series so much, she will be missed.

The book just seemed like a lot of filler with nothing really happening, trying to get as many characters in as possible for the new narrator to try and do the voices. The problem was she is a downgrade and seemed to try to hard with antiniums voices and not being able to crack it. hopefully over time she can settle into the role

The story is great as usual but the narration its so slowly read im forced to go at 1.7-2X speed and she is not great at deep voices goblins drakes and gnolls need more depth and gravel. Also does change her volume when characters shout or whisper it’s not as much a performance as Andrea did for the last books. The standard narration and female voices as good though, if they narrate the next book/s please but more emphasis on these little things im mentioned in makes all the difference but if you only do one thing different speak at a faster pace.
