King of Duels marks the passing of the torch from our beloved Andrea Parsneau to a new narrator. Erin Bennett, a Golden Voice narrator, will continue to bring the magic of The Wandering Inn to life.
The world is full of adventures, big and small.
From exploring the [Garden of Sanctuary] to the depths of the sea, there are countless fascinating discoveries to be made. Not just in the places people go, but in the things they create... or recreate from Earth. Chocolate, lifting weights, and alcohol all flow through The Wandering Inn with unexpected consequences at times.
However, there's also war, [Assassins], and scams that ruin or destroy lives. For every monster, there is an adventurer. The Stitch Witch may creep forward, and the King of Destruction continues his rampage across nations, but there will always be a champion who steps forward.
Featuring a foreword from Andrea Parsneau.

However, with the new narrator who I have listened to previously and have enjoyed their narration, for me it has lost much of the charm that the previous narrator had in telling me stories.
And although I’m rating the book fairly highly, I do feel that the story has lost far more than it has gained with the change of narrator.
New narrator equals loss of charm

As anyone who does voices, accents or impressions will understand, your voice just sounds a certain way when you try it Andrea will have gone with what felt comfortable with every accent she tried, hence some characters sounding very similar because even she couldn't change it that much around the chosen accents for each species in the world.
Erin has come in and her job isn't to make up the accents in what feels comfortable for her, she is having to impersonate an entire world of characters, as it goes on I imagine it will start to become a mix between the impersonation and what feels comfortable to her.
don't listen to the people moaning, you've taken on a massive project and the fact that you can still tell who most of the characters are supposed to be is a credit to you.
the book itself? it's a wandering inn installment... were all better because the story continues on, great work as ever Aba, I think it's about time that you show the world who you are because you deserve a lot of accolades for your work, this is literally the longest fantasy series ever written and you should be getting all of the game that comes with doing that.
rant over, book 16 now please.
oh and the dance off, I'm off review .. get a grip.
Everyone needs to shut up moaning

Remember how much Andrea developed from original book 1. This is still a really enjoyable narration and far better than I worried it would be
