This is a great sequel to Divergent. I really enjoyed this. In this the second book of the trilogy I noted different plot elements to the film, but in no way to the detriment. Having watched the films first has in no way spoiled my enjoyment of the books. Great action, great romance and a great plot twist. Looking forward to the third book. Recommended.

Excellent narration. There are lots of emotional highs and lows and the book is not predictable. Characters continue to develop, and what motivates individuals are lesson we can all draw and reflect on in our own lives and experiences. Looking forward to the next one.

Thought provokingly good

Is a good book but I did get a bit fed up of all the arguing between Tris and Four. More brutal than the film version and plots quite different in places (from what I remember of the film) so it's worth a read. Don't feel any urgency to go onto 3rd book straight away after this one which I did after 1st book.

Quite different to the film
