Things I should never, under any circumstances, ever do: ask my secret crush, aka the most notorious (reformed) playboy in pro hockey, to take my virginity.

Too bad, I did.

After a string of terrible dates, I did the unthinkable. I propositioned Flip Madden. Of course, he said no. It isn’t that he’s almost a decade older than me, or that I’m still in university. It’s because I’m his coach’s oldest daughter. Not to mention my dad would bludgeon him with his hockey stick if he found out. Which he won’t, because it will never happen.

And now things are awkward because there’s no going back. Except Flip is more protective than ever, and his eyes follow me around every room we’re in together. He brings flowers to my recitals and reads all the books I recommend.

Things I should never, under any circumstances, ever do: hope Flip Madden might actually want me too.

*Flip and Tally's coach's daughter, age gap, forbidden romance, and the final standalone in the Toronto Terror Series.

This story is absolutely not what my imagination had created for Flip and Tally as I read this series, but good lordy it is so most much better. Flip has transformed from a huge red flag to a totally heavenly green flag. He's aware of his flaws and working on getting better.
I loved the maturity of Flip & Tally, yes they make mistakes but they own them, they work on being better. Even when Flip's past haunts them, it doesn't lead to a third act blow up. It's communication, asking for what your need, empathy, connection.
There is the most satisfying slow burn with sizzling chemistry, emotionally and sensually. Neither are shy about pushing boundaries in any aspect of their life.
It's endearing watching Flip trying so hard to ensure he achieves his HEA with Tally. They are both completely dedicated to making that fantasy reality.

she is soooo childish and he is a manchild so I guess they belong together. I hated this.... which sucks cuz I really liked all the other books in the series (apart from the first one) 🤷🏽‍♀️ I want my credit back

this is the worst one in the series

The whole book felt excessively sweet rather than endearing. I found myself skipping through portions of the audiobook to get to the conclusion.

I liked the world Helena created with the characters in this series but this time round it just didn't feel at all believable.

The narration by Lee Samuel's was great, CJ Bloom was a bit "much" for me.

saccharine sweet
