good story ..fun caper that doesn't romanticise India but is very clear that the country is rotten to the core.

fun fast paced tale

The book successfully pokes through the paradoxes that is India via a rather tall and yet believable story. The insights can be uncomfortable but they are delivered with wry humour that had me laughing out loud at times. Its story may be set in modern day India but it’s themes are universal. No wonder it’s already been optioned for a film. Very entertaining.
The reader manages to convey the numerous characters with authenticity and colour as well as capturing the tone of the story.

So vivid and entertaining- took me right to the heart of the underside of India
