If you like Douglas Adams and/or Pratchet, this is just up your street. Death, a Billy Joel fan, takes an apprentice, Dave, under his wing, or should that be scythe? Together they are up against another of the four horsemen of the apocalypse. Truly, laugh put loud funny.

That was an enjoyable easy listen. I heard this narrator on other ‘fantasy’ style books (The Nightside series) and think he does it very well. I see there is another collection which I’ll now dive into.

brilliant book, really loved the characters but the narration was terrible. He really needs to learn to narrate as if he were talking to a friend.
