‘BALDACCI IS STILL PEERLESS’ – THE SUNDAY TIMES

REVENGE IS A DISH BEST SERVED COLD . . .

After turning informant for the FBI against a global criminal empire, Walter Nash has lost everything he cherished to its ruthless leader, Victoria Steers. Once gentle and sensitive, Nash’s rigorous training has forged him into a figure of power and precision with a singular mission: to take down Steers.

Defeating a mastermind requires cunning. Known for her sharp instincts, Steers confides in only a trusted few, so to penetrate her inner circle and dismantle her operation, Nash must summon all of his savvy and strength.

But as he edges closer to the woman who unraveled his life, Nash finds himself oddly drawn to Steers in ways he never could’ve imagined. And what he uncovers will upend all he knows, leading him to a choice that will change everything.

Will the truth set Nash free?

Or end him?

The pulse-pounding, unmissable sequel to Nash Falls, from international number one bestselling author of The 6:20 Man, David Baldacci.

Loved the book, but ends of chapters were missing. Hard to tell how much but the story jumped. Chapter 83 just one example

Great story - but bits missing

As above the author has a way of describing and telling a story better than any one else, a master storyteller.

The total delivery of a great story well wrote

The second in a great set of stories which is became totally absorbed in. Credible characters, good settings, intriguing world politics - this book has it all! The denouement leaves the door open for more of Baldacci’s classy writing.

A cracker!

This was a super story and an excellent sequel to “Nash Falls”. However, the listening experience was destroyed by large chunks of the final chapters being chopped from the narration. How this level of incompetence can have made it through proof-checking is beyond me but I shall be returning the book for a refund as a result. I advise waiting to download it until these errors have been rectified.

Great story, terrible editing

Really enjoyed this book - not as good as the first but once it got going it was great. Narration was brilliant for all characters.

Great sequel!
