About this listen

"The perfect blend of uber alpha with a tender side." (USA Today best-selling author Jane Henry)

Sorry, Printsessa, freedom isn't in the cards for you.
You're mine now.
I came for revenge.
The Tacone Family wiped out the Chicago mafiya.
My bratva. My family.
So I captured their little sister.

Now that I have her, I don't want to let her go.
I'd rather keep her forever - my captive bride.
They'll pay a dowry instead of ransom.
At the end of the day, the girl and the fortune will be mine.
Because I'll never relinquish their queen of clubs.

Note: This steamy stand-alone dark romance is the sixth in USA Today best-selling author Renee Rose's Vegas Underground mafia series. HEA guaranteed - no cheating, no cliffhangers.

This was yet another fantastic story from Renee Rose, yes it has kidnapping but it wasn’t as dark as some of Renees books which was a nice change. That being said I love her darkest books too. This one was very enjoyable and the characters drew me in. I was actually surprised when it finished as I had forgotten that I was listening to a book. Absolutely loved it

Really enjoyable

I liked this a lot. Well, it's safe to say I like this kind of forced proximity (kidnapping), but I'm glad this wasn't a psychological thriller of sorts and it was truly a romance on it's core. A mafia fairy tale.

The situations weren't very realistic, the bad guy wasn't really a bad guy and the h actions were dubious to say the least. But I like it anyway Lol It was insta-lust and insta-love, but the h put up a fight pretty good and didn't throw her arms around her kidnapper right away, so we get the right amount of sexual tension.

This isn't dark at all, there isn't any non-con or dub-con, or highly morally questionable attitudes but the kidnapping itself. I don't think I'll read all other books in the series since they seem very similar. I only read this one and it can be read as a standalone.

Ohh Benjamin Sands's narration was amazing! I love his voice, it was deep and raspy. He did the female voice amazingly though, it wasn't forced, annoying or anything, just good enough. I will definitely listen to him again.

Lovely mafia fairy tale
