I love these two together and these little snippets just add to the rich tapestry of the other books in the series. I just love the way they are both funny and heart-felt. It's been a long while since I read the original series and I think it's time to revisit it. The narrator did a wonderful job too.

Okay, I am slow in writing this review, but that doesn’t represent my enthusiasm of this audio. I love Emery and John-Henry, so having snippets of their lives was just precious. Having a glimpse into Evie as she grows up is also fantastic!

There is so damn much humor in these stories! The opening story, of what happens when John-Henry enters a charity bachelor auction, was a hoot. Why? Because he and Emery are now a couple! So yeah, a little awkward. Emery’s antics as he tried to support his boyfriend was truly enjoyable!

Evie’s birthday party nearly breaks Emery as he tries to make things perfect. When her present goes missing, E is on the case! Loved this one!

Hazard as a Santa? I remember walking along a beach while listening to this story and getting a true kick out of it. Laughing out loud? Yep!

I loved Emery’s scavenger hunt – John-Henry knows his partner so well that hilarity ensued and I got a kick out of it!

Finally, the Caribbean vacation! Sunscreen (or lack thereof), boats, and general shenanigans. Quintessential Emery and John-Henry. Completely enjoyable!

I’ll tip my hat to Tristan James who always has just the right interpretation of Gregory’s words. These vignettes are entertaining and I’m off to read the next one!
