I’ll preface this by saying I read the book before I started listening to the audio. The story is great, in fact I devoured the entire series. But the audio for this book, and presumably the others, just doesn’t work for me. It’s not at all how my head imagined the characters to sound. Accent choices and pitch of tone are so off. Still a great story though.

I’ve read this book several times and I love it. But the narrator ruined the audio book for me. He makes a lot of different voices and especially the voice for Kip is really weird.
It’s the same narrator for the other books in the series so I’ll have to stick with the ebooks, unfortunately

loved the book and soo wanted to love the audiobook. but the narrator didn't do kip justice in my opinion. didn't sound like a Brooklyn accent and certainly didn't hit kips charm. But given how badly the TV series Heated Riverly badly cast both Kip and Scott I'm not surprised.
