Don’t miss this duet narration, action-packed, jaw-dropping, dark and romantic sequel to the globally bestselling phenomenon, Dire Bound.

CROWNED BY DESTINY. CONSUMED BY VENGEANCE.

Against all odds, Meryn Cooper has inherited the crown – and a deadly war. As the Kingdom of Nocturna splinters under the weight of generations of lies, it is up to Meryn, her bonded direwolf Anassa and their allies to bring the country back from the brink.

But the commoners, the Bonded and the nobles are distrustful of their new queen and Meryn is caught in a deadly game of politics. Meanwhile, Meryn's beloved sister, Saela, is more at risk than ever.

Confusingly, the one person Meryn can trust is Stark Therion – the dark, dangerous Alpha she thought hated her as much as she loathed him. Yet, his loyalty is unshakeable. His presence intoxicating. And with his guidance, Meryn can seize an unthinkable level of power.

With enemies closing in and shadows stirring her dreams, Meryn stands to lose her kingdom – and her heart.

Blood will spill. Bonds will break. Fate will be tested.

I really wanted to love Fury Bound because book 1 was a total 6-star read for me, but this one just didn’t hit the same. The narrators were amazing and honestly the only thing that kept me going.

I ended up DNF’ing with about an hour left because I just wasn’t invested in the story anymore. Some parts were good but the majority was pretty tough to get through and overall it just felt overly drawn out and underwhelming. The big battle near the end had me thinking “seriously… was that it?” which pretty much summed up my feelings overall. I won't be continuing on to book 3.

Underwhelmed Despite Fantastic Narrators

Fury Bound: The Wolves of Ruin series, Book 2
By: Sable Sorensen
Narrated By: Avery Caris and Gabriel Micha
Length: 22 hrs and 37 mins

This audiobook is very well narrated in back and forth, immediate, dual pov!😍👏

I much prefered Meryn in this book. She's much more open to others' opinions, less selfish, and her overconfidence isn't on show nearly as much, phew, plus she's learned to own her mistakes and how to apologise!😉

I really liked how insecure her growing feelings for Stark made her come across. Her Direwolf was so over it.😆 They made a great couple once they got it together.💘🔥

The sadness, loss, and constant threat to everyone's lives in this book was on a much more realistic 'war type' of footing! Killian splits the packs, which causes utter chaos. An ally comes from an extraordinary quarter!💥

This, I felt, was a more fleshed out and realistically deadly book. The world building was much denser, and that helped the story expand quite a lot. It seems the 3rd book will continue in this, judging by the ending of this one!😳

I'm happy to report that this story had a really good conclusion to it but it left us with an amazing hook to book 3!🤯
