Every weekend, in basements and car parks across the country, young men with good white-collar jobs and absent fathers take off their shoes and shirts and fight each other barehanded. Then they go back to those jobs with blackened eyes and loosened teeth and the sense that they can handle anything.

Fight Club is the invention of Tyler Durden, projectionist, waiter, and dark, anarchic genius. And it's only the beginning of his plans for revenge on the world...

Narrator could not have been better. I've loved the movie forever so I thought it was about time I read/listened the book. Brilliant!

This was a fantastic listen with a great story. The imagery is vivid, the humour is dark and despite the subjects it never relies on being shocking for the sake of shocking. The narration was great and really invested me in the story. Now I'm going to break the first rule of Fight Club by talking about Fight Club.

As I listen to this gritty masterpiece I cannot help but think of what is going on in the world regarding the so called Islamic state and the true motivation of such disturbed young men and women to commit their atrocious acts. This is a volatile read and what a twist!

Iconic and disturbingly close to the bone

Really enjoyed it, wish it was longer. It was good to compare it to the movie.

I have seen the film before a long while ago so thought I might like this book. The story is written very well with a lot of laugh out loud sections. The story jumps around a lot into different times and you need to keep up with it.

Brilliant story, delivered like confettiti
