I do enjoy this series but this one disappointed me for the first half of the book I was almost ready to give up on Phoebe and her struggles in the bleak underground tunnels, even the narrator seemed bored, but things did pick up in the second half and became way more interesting. I was not impressed with the ending though, rather too abrupt for my liking. I'm not sure if I'll bother with the next book but who knows, we shall see.
