The reader did not achieve sufficient difference of tone or accent among the female characters to always make it clear which character was speaking.

Really liked this book, fascinating characters. However I felt that it went on too long, and didn’t like all the many long sounding names of people.

Another amazing story. Little is known about the characters in history what Barbara has written feels like you are reading between the lines of these historical figures. I loved the story and it has shown im now a lifelong Erskine fan

I'm not sure why the narration got some less than favourable reviews. I thought it was executed perfectly for this story.
I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of listening and can highly recommend.
