Continuing the story from the second book, Damien Vryce and Gerald Terrant return to the West Continent determined to take up the fight against the potentially world altering demon they uncovered in last instalment.

New characters are introduced. New enmities and new alliances are formed. A final showdown, scenic enough for any blockbuster, takes place.

As usually the world is beautifully written, and the characters are interesting and believable - but of course the story revolves around the unlikely bromance between Damien and Terrant.
