I really enjoyed this book the 4th in the series by the brilliant T M Payne it has so many twists and turns keeps your attention to the last page .. can't wait for the next book 📖😀

I've listened to the previous titles with much pleasure and this one continues the lives and interactions of the recurring characters.
It also throws in the on going mystery of a thirty year old murder and the current killing spree of a particularly cunning and unpleasant person.
The author plots convincingly. The pace, the detail, the twists,very the emotional struggles and the respectful teamwork alongside the occasional humorous examples of letting off steam all work so well together. They also kept me engrossed most of the night ( instead of sleeping).
Love this series. The author tied up so many ends, which was appreciated.
